There’s something no one really prepares you for when you become a mom.
Not the sleepless nights.
Not the endless snacks.
Not even the way your entire schedule suddenly revolves around someone else.
It’s the quiet feeling that somewhere along the way… you lost a little piece of yourself.
The “Pink” We Don’t Talk About

Flamingos are born bright pink. But when they have babies, something incredible happens.
To feed their chicks, they produce a special milk packed with nutrients—and in the process, their vibrant pink feathers slowly fade.
They quite literally give so much of themselves to their babies that they lose their color.
And honestly? Motherhood can feel the same.
You pour everything into your kids…your time, your energy, your identity and one day you look up and think… wait, where did I go?
How Moms of Boise Started
Moms of Boise didn’t start as a business or a brand.
It started because I needed people.

I was in that phase of motherhood where getting out of the house felt like a full production… but staying home felt even harder. I didn’t just need something to do, I needed connection. I needed other moms who got it.
So I created a space.
At first, it was simple. A way to meet up. A way to say, “Hey, I’m going to the park…anyone want to join?”
And slowly, something really special started to happen.
Moms showed up.
Not just for the events, but for each other.
What It’s Become
Moms of Boise has grown into a community of women who are all in different stages of motherhood but all craving the same thing: connection.
It’s stroller walks where conversations go from surface-level to real in five minutes or less.
It’s park playdates where kids run wild and moms finally get to sit and talk.
It’s moms’ nights out where you remember what it feels like to laugh—like really laugh—again.
It’s not about perfect homes, perfect routines, or having it all together.
It’s about showing up exactly as you are.
What We Stand For
At its core, Moms of Boise is about one thing:
Getting your pink back. 🦩
It’s about:
- Finding your people
- Feeling seen and supported
- Getting out of the house (even when it feels hard)
- Building real friendships
- Remembering who you are outside of being “mom”
Because you’re still in there.
And you deserve to feel like yourself again.
